You can submit your website to Google at the following URL: http://www.google.com/addurl.html Submitting your site will only make Google aware that your page exists; it is quite possible that your pages may get crawled even if you have not submitted. It is advisable to submit the home page and some inside pages. Inside pages are added to the submission, just in case the home page is found too slow to load or crawl. The pages that are submitted should link to the rest of the pages. Google indexes the full text that is visible on any page that it crawls. It generally does not index the metatags – keywords ordescriptions. When Google lists your page in the search results, the description that is displayed is the extract of text that is around the first line where the search word appears on the page. It may thus be a good idea to write a good description of the page and build it around the most likely search term(s) and place that near the top of your page.You should remember that one sure way of getting your site listed and indexed is if there are several links that point to your site and such links appear on web pages that in turn have several other links pointing to them. The term “link popularity” is used for this. It analyzes links of the pages that it has visited and this “link analysis”helps to determine the ranking of the page. Google uses a proprietary PageRank algorithm for determining relevance and ranking of pages in the search results. Location and frequency of the search term on your web page are no doubt factors inranking; however, off-the-page factors such as link analysis are more important. Generally, Google provides search results based on relevancy, meaning that it returns a list of pages ranked by the number of other web pages linking to each page, as well as other mathematical algorithms.

Alexa has been crawling the Web since early 1996, and we have continually increased the amount of information that we gather. We are currently gathering approximately 1.6 Terabytes (1600 gigabytes) of Web content per day. After each snapshot of the Web, which takes approximately two months to complete, Alexa has gathered 4.5 Billion pages from over 16 million sites.

Gathering Web Usage Information

I think you have known about the new search engine, Bing, isn’t it?
After Microsoft released the Bing search engine on June 2009 to replace Live search, almost all bloggers publish about it including me because I am influenced to do it. Therefore, this article is talking about Bing Search Engine. Today I am not explaining about the release of Bing, comparing Bing with Google Search Engine, but I would like to invite you to register your blogs to Bing so your blog or website will be indexed in Bing.
For those who have blogs or websites, the presence of the New search engine such as Bing, one thing should be done is to check whether their blogs or websites are indexed or not yet. If not indexed, you can ask Bing to index the blogs or website by filling out the form available. Through this form, please submit your blogs or websites by entering the URL of your blogs or websites and the verification image. If your blogs or websites has been indexed, you can manage and control your blogs or websites by joining with Bing Webmaster Center.
Bing Webmaster Center is the service similar to Google Webmaster Tools or Yahoo Site Explorer that can be used by the owners of blogs or websites to control their blogs or website development and improvement by monitoring the blogs or websites anytime.
To register your blog or website at Bing Webmaster Center, you can do it by entering your blog/website URL’s and the sitemaps. In my opinion, if possible, you had better add your blog or website sitemap because there are some URL’s of your blog/website’s pages that you do need to be indexed. You can enter the same sitemaps with you have used for Google Webmaster Tools or Yahoo Site Explorer.
To register your website/blog to Bing Webmaster Center, please click here. If you have not yet had an account in Windows Live, please create one by clicking the button Sign Up that is placed on the bottom left. Now write your identity as you do in Gmail or Ymail.
If you have finished enter your website or blog and the sitemap into Bing Webmaster Center, and submit it, now you have to verify that you are the owner by uploading XML file provided or by adding the meta tag in your default page of blog or website. If the verification is done, you can see the information and features for your blog or website such as Summary, Profile, Crawl Issues, Backlinks, Outbound Links, Keywords, and Sitemaps.
If you done it in Google webmaster tool, you can easily adopt it in Bing Webmaster Center because it is very similar.

However, if you don’t have any product to sell, you can join the affiliate programs that are now available on the internet, one of them is www.amazon.com. You can register to join the Amazon Affiliate program. After you are a member, you can store link or image of product from Amazon in your blog. When your visitors click on the link or image and then buy the products, you will receive the commissions from the sale.
2. Selling ads
Since Google has bought blogger.com several years ago (2002), Blogger has the bigger and easier chance to sell ads from advertisers. Blogger can join a program from Google that we know as Google Adsense (GA). With Google Adsense, as blogger who does blogging through blogger.com, you can easily integrate the ads to your blog. Google Adsense ads can be the links and images that will automatically appear on your blog if the codes of ads have been installed on your blog.
The payment system of Google Adsense ads is Pay Per Click (PPC). It means that the ads will be paid as many as the clicks. So, the more clicks on Adsense you get, the more money you will receive. To play in Adsense, you should have a high traffic blog (have many visitors) because it can make you have more clicks on your Adsense. If we put "Google Adsense for Search" or search engine from google adsense, there are three kinds of ways to display the search results, namely:

2. Open results on Google in a new window (shown at page new)
3. Open results within my own site (displayed on site that we want).
The easiest is to use the first and second ways, but this way makes the search less pungunjung who do so enthusiastically because of its search results were no longer in our blog. If I think a third way is the best who, because of its search results would be in our web / blog. But this method requires a few tricks that can appear inside blogger posts. Who want to know here's how:
1. Create a posting on the blogger, but it is empty. then given the title.
2. Change the date to the date posting who let no longer appear on the main page. how to click the "Post Options" (bottom left) is in the box then "Post date and time" that the date changed. if already "Publish Post"
3. Sign on the "edit post" then right click the link 'View' on the title vacant posts created last km, then select "Copy link location" (for those who pake opera). The point is to take the title posting a link from this nonsense.
